Under the Tuscan Sun by Frances Mayes and man oh man was it good.
Absolutely nothing like the movie. Well, other than the buying of an old Tuscan home and fixing it up. I took months to read this book because I savored every word. I would read a bit here and a bit there. Completely worth spending forever. I would read it again. But not for a while.
